OctopodiCon is a steampunk convention in Oklahoma City, OCtober 5-7, 2012. Consider it a steampunk "Hogwarts", where people can enroll in make-n-take classes, attend lectures and demos, and participate in discussion panels. These count towards earning a Freshman Pin in the quest to complete a novelty Bachelor's of Steampunk degree. Details, student handbook, and Course Catalog will be on our website. OU Medieval Fair Steam Meet Up at OU Medieval Fair
March 31, 2012 from 1pm to 3pm
We'll gather as time travelers at the OU Medieval Fair to meet others interested in steampunk. The location is the Water Paws Tent, located behind the Unicorn Stage and across from the Fair Office in the middle of the Fair.The Fair is located in Reaves Park in Norman, OK, and if you park at the Lloyd Noble Center, the university charges a parking fee, but the Fair itself is free entrance.See More

Avery Crowe said… - I thank you kind sir for your generous invitation at friendship. I had been told mavericks were common in the Steampunk community these days, so i had one done by a friend at Johnson Arms. He's a wiz with nerf guns, squirt guns, you name it! I probably could have done it myself, but he does this as a side job and has done props for movies. I let him handle it and was glad for his efforts.
