So the other day i was looking at the sketches of the original crossbow and quickly i realized that the creator had done a life sized sketch of the bow before he even began so it seems like i am going to have to do this. unfortuntly this sets me behind by more then a week for at the moment i am busy with school and the like but i plan on starting the construction with in the month.

I have just gotten in contact with the original creator of this crossbow and he has given me permission to replicate his design. as we speak I am calculating the price to obtain all of the parts. I will need various lengths of wood, some bits of leather, copper piping, 4 6' fiberglass rods, and other odds and ends.

this is my last work journal until i start this creation.

Well if we manage to create indepedent and creative A.I. then we might just end up like The Space Odyssey.

Numbers is only one problem. Money is also only one problem. The Western world are the apparent leading nations, and they all heavily rely on a monetary based system, and it is because of them relying so heavily on that form of system that they must do as much as possible in order to have the most, without care of whether a large piece of land that is just sitting there not giving them paper rectangles is gone, destroying homes of the natural inhabitants, the affect removing it to the surrounding land, and natural beauty. And of course, they have set up a schooling system that only encourages others to do one simple goal, earn as much paper as possible. So they too are doing this, whether independently, or for a large corporation who do it.
The want for advancing in modern technology is also another problem, but I won't elaborate.

Hail and Welcome to The Empire!

My name is Professor Philip McKraken, Director of The Asylum for the Chronologically Dislocated. I am always glad to see a new face here and especially one so keen on learning the ways of Steam! I see that you are particularly interested in Steampunk Fashion and am glad to inform you that there are numerous groups and individuals who would be glad to help you on your quest.

May I suggest “A Stitch in Tyme Ward” over at the Asylum…

and “The Steampunk Stitching Association” here on The Empire… name just two.

If there is any way that the Staff of The Asylum or I can be of any assistance, don't hesitate to dorp me a line!

Looking forward to seeing you here and hopefully around the grounds of The Asylum!

Your Friend,

Prof. P.M.
