Profile Information
- Introduction
- My Steamy name is Cordelia Moontea. I am a Monstrumologist - a field-scholar of all things monstrous. I study monsters, hunt them, and collect them. My curio cabinet has expanded beyond its capacity, so I'm building more. I am also a licensed paranormal investigator, for sometimes monsters and ghosts and cryptids overlap. I am tenured at the Waacres University of Perspicacity to teach cryptozoology and monstrumology when I'm not in the field. In pursuit of monsters, I frequently time travel, so I sometimes forget in which era I currently am and my clothing reflects this eclectic timeframe.
I am also a spagyrist, almost an essential in my occupation, for the study of monsters isn't limited to the merely physical, nor is it necessarily a safe pursuit. In early eras, the medicinals one needs to survive some encounters won't be available yet, so it behooves me to be able to create them at need.
Civilization is never forgotten in my professional occupation - I always have my tea!
I am hearing impaired and accompanied by a small hearing canine. He has, upon many occasions, alerted me to the presence of monsters, alarms, alarums, and tea time - a very useful canine, indeed! He is also charming and cute.

I hope you are doing better and that your hands are healing well. I can only try to imagine how much hurt.
I would Love to do a Tea Panel with you at Fencon! Once we have gotten past the Holidays and the New Year we will have to start planning.
Would love to keep talking but med's are kicking in and in another 10 minutes I will be just hitting random keys. Well touch base again soon when the med's are not so heavy.
