That is an excellent piece of headgear indeed, and I highly endorse your acquisition of it!

I like Captain Spaulding especially for cosplay because he always struck me as something of a fraud... Also, when I was a long-haired kid, I needed to play Groucho characters with hats so that I could hide my hair, so I was always either Captain Spaulding or Professor Wagstaff. That isn't an issue now, but Captain Spaulding does fit in wonderfully with the era. :)

It was nice to meet you and Amanda, too! I'm sure we'll be at many of the same events, as Capt. Buford and I don't live too far away from you at all. (And my whole persona did grow out of the Captain Spaulding bit - I've been dressing up as Groucho from time to time since I was ten, and it seems he's followed me into steampunk!)

Thank you sir, most kind of you.  I so rarely advertise as I typically like the "word of mouth approach, so it's most gratifying to know a few of the ads are interesting to people.  Your compliment on my website is perhaps even greater than you realize in today's "automatic website" environment.  I design all my own graphics and still program "old school" with hard code, so I consider the site one of my creations in a more artistic sense.  So again, thank you most heartily.  It's a great pleasure to meet you.
