Robert Jeffery Wallace commented on The Davenport Sisters's group NC Steampunk Society
"Good Morning Enganear, I was just going to ask -- what do Steampunk locomotives look like? The streamlining of these steam locomotives is fascinating and echoes some of the images recorded for various renditions of Jules Verne's Nautilus…"

Robert Jeffery Wallace commented on The Davenport Sisters's group NC Steampunk Society
"Jolly Good! I say. It has been so long since I have spent real time at the museum to where I have no clear memory of the Museum's steam locomotive assets and spring and fall schedules. The Halloween to Thanksgiving period would be a perfect…"

Robert Jeffery Wallace commented on The Davenport Sisters's group NC Steampunk Society
"I hardily agree with the NC Transportation Museum in Spencer idea. It's perfect and within a hours+ drive of Hickory, NC. Tons of picture opportunities with the period buildings and trains and other hardware -- especially on foggy -- breeze…"

Robert Jeffery Wallace replied to Gadgeteer Dragos Lamont's discussion How To Guides: Calling on this group to help in the group Society of Gageteers and Inventors (S.G.I)
"OK. I'll try to carve out some time to pick one of the Instructibles "How-To" YouTube videos and model a first simple "How-To" one after it. I recently had to wire up some three-position toggle switches to control the motor…"

"Dear Master Gadgeteer Lamont, Can you see if you can get a "first" example "How-To" posted here as a template. I have some knowledge on several of these skills subjects but have not written a "How-To" before. A sample…"

Robert Jeffery Wallace replied to Opal Light Neo's discussion Declaration C
"Dear Ms. Neo -- does the double 'ii" substitution for "y" serve to suggest the Australian accent to a "merican" reader? Jonathon Mason was my other best "mate" my Leaving year at Queenscliff High and his…"

Profile Information

Introduction
I am a research industrial engineer interested in cyborg-related manpower amplifiers such as wearable exoskeleton power amplification units and extreme environment work suits like underwater work suits and Steampunk spacesuits. These suits include wearable "steam-enabled" power tools like drills and magazine-fed industrial diamond-tipped bolt drivers.
