A Reply to "How I Killed The Cog Of Acceptance"

As follows is my reply to a Blog on "How I Killed The Cog Of Acceptance"....

"I must say right off the bat that I thought about this quite a bit before I hit "Add Comment".

Looking at both sides of the argument, I think you both made a mistake.

First, someone brought religion, AND THEIR CONDEMNATION OF IT, into the Cog.  That in itself is a mistake.

Second, taking religion and the abhorrent mis-uses of it by the vast number of deluded and woefully ignorant… Continue

Mr. Grimm,

My mouth fairly waters when you describe your cider-nalia!!    The number of brewers gives me hope that this country will discover (rediscover) the joys of cider drinking.   I prefer the more tart varieties.   Strongbow tastes like an extremely tart apple but with a definite buzz at the end of it.

Thank you for sharing your experience.     Phin. Sprockett

Mr. Grimm,

I am envious!    Cider is my favorite libation of  all.   Especially the wonderful English cider brand, Strongbow which can be bought on tap in the U.K.

Hope you have a successful  jaunt.       Phin. Sprockett

Mr. Grimm,

Thank you for inspiring me to make an effort with my aunt's sewing machine.   With the help of an online tutorial, I actually turned a pair of trousers into a pair of really neat and servicable bike knickers!    Nothing really difficult about it but for me it was an important project which provided me with confidence to try some more.

The machine worked quiet well.  My sister is schedlued to visit this weekend so will have her look at it and determine whether I need some maintenance.

I also visited Rev. Ratspeed's page, read some of his posts, then went to the Steampunk Stitching Association, read a lot there and then joined.

My next thought is collars.   Do you wear detachable ones?   Do you craft collars on existing shirts to conform to Victorian/Edwardian "look"?

Thank you, again sir, for your most valuable information.  I think my learning curve just took another jump upward.

Wishing you a Most Pleasant Day,     Phin. Sprockett
