"Congratulations on your Etsy shop! Welcome to the group! I like your guns. I would suggest looking to join some steampunk "Teams" on Etsy when you have the time so that you may advertise your wares and meet some other enthusiasts!"

Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer

I am a pretty big fan of board games, especially the creative European/German style games. The other night I was introduced to Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer. It was my first time playing but it was a pretty easy game to learn to play, and pretty fun, too! Any fellow steampunks play this game before? I definitely got a fantasy crossed with steampunk vibe from the game due to the mechanic cards. What are your thoughts?See More

Santiago Dunbar replied to Iris Dimond's discussion what is an appropriate Steam Punk name?
"I would think all names are appropriate steampunk names. There are a few ways you could choose to approach making a name for yourself, though. I love the idea of using a first or last name from non-English speaking countries in order to have some…"

Santiago Dunbar replied to Morgan Elizabeth's discussion Are corsets as outerwear permissible?
"Since steampunk is science fiction and an alternate look at the cultures of the 19th century, I don't think you should have to be pigeonholed into only wearing a corset as an undergarment. I think they are works of art and to display them as…"

Ah, I see you have a splendid collection of replacement arm-aments yourself. Excellent work with the construction and the design of your devices. I especially like the metal effect theme you have going with photo #1 in the slideshow.

Dear Captain Dunbar,

I am well pleased to know a fine man like yourself. Clearly both a talented craftsman in both the martial and fine arts, I look forward to hearing of your exploits. Perhaps if you need extra deck hands you would employ a wandering knight to your service?

Well met.

Welcome!  Don't worry, I'm also fairly new to this site, and to the Steampunk world in general, and I even hail from St. Louis!  So again, Mr. Dunbar, welcome to the Aether world.
