A few people have been asking me "how do I get started?' type questions, and even though it is six months before I'll have to give a presentation (GalaxyFest, February 2012 and AnomalyCon, March 2012) I may as well start organizing my thoughts now.

For those have you that have not yet heard, we will be prepping toy guns for modification for both GalaxyFest next February and AnomalyCon next March.
What we do is take a toy gun and prime it for painting, give it a color coat (usually metallic) and a protective clear coat. Then, at the event, provide access to model paint in assorted colors, small decorative…
