Hallo there, ladies and gentlemen. I have been foraying into the steampunk culture since I was just a wee impetuous lad. I seek nothing more than an indulgence with this culture, and I signed up so that I won't have to be destitute of touches with it. I hope to meet many a fine ladies and gentleman around here, and perhaps! If Lady Luck dares smile upon me, those near me.
Just one thing, however. If we were happenstance to perhaps meet one another outside of the virtual realm, I must inform you, you would have to put up with the inconvenience of my being derived of hearing. That could make some conversation quite intricate for some.

Welcome to the Empire Mr. Elizalde! It is good to see the Empire has another representative in the southern tip of Texas. If you are interested you might want to look in on the SCARS page and check it of. Enjoy the Empire.
Sir! Do not worry about your dress or etiquette. If you feel you would like to attend, our usual meeting place is at El Hueso de Fraile on Elizabeth street. Its a coffee/tea house. And although we usually pick weekends at 9 or 10pm, we do not require you to be of a certain age to spend time with us. The point is merely to spend time and converse with individuals of similar steampunk interests. You are not required to dress up, although we will. So, wearing your goggles is strongly encouraged but not required. Last time we went the cafe was full of many non-steampunk people and we created quite the spectacle. However, many were gracious and complimented us on our dress, some even asked us for photographs. We have not chosen which day we will be going next. However, if this is not your cup of tea, I most certainly understand. The choice is up to you and I will not be offended if you do not attend. We may continue to be online acquaintances if that is your preference. Either way, I will inform you of the date of our next meeting event. :)
Thank you for the add good sir! May I inquire if you are on facebook as well? If you are, you should take a look at the Golden Enigma A.C.E. page. A few friends and I have created a small group in Brownsville and plan to dress up and go out in town. I strongly encourage you to take a look. If you do not participate in facebook, I would be happy to inform you when we have events via discussion on this website. Please let me know and best wishes in your steampunk adventures :)
