"For a young company tackling land, air and sea combat they've done a really good job on the rules engine. And the models are really nice. On many of the ships, you can see man sized hatches for scale."

"If you went to the Flying Kettle site, you would see that they have a photo of what they claim is "The first ever filling of a steam balloon".  While steam would work as a lifting gas, I do not know if it would work as a closed-cycle…"

So my brother just shot me a text. Brian Blessed has an iDevice app. It's a goofy alarm clock, but still worth having for a couple reasons.1) the alarms are sound bits of Mr Blessed.2) a portion of the procedes goes to Wounded Warrior (dads a Vietnam vet, I'm a GWOT vet, my brothers a Op Afghani Freedom vet), so that hits close to home3) the interface is styled after an antique grandfather clock. It's quite pretty, adds a steamy quality to my iPhone.See More

Greetings one and all! After years of costuming, historical reenactment, tinkering and general nerdity I am taking the plunge into a world of steam, brass and adventure.
