Introduction
As with everyone else who has joined this group I have a passion for steampunk. Most interesting thing is I feel like I have come home to a time and place that I have been before.

Meeting a Hero

Posted on October 15, 2012 at 8:06pm 0 Comments

I went to ComicCOn NYC this weekend for the first time. It was crazy crowded but we had a great time. There were a lot of people selling their wears, and I was very frugal with my limited resources.

I have to say there was a good amount of steamy sellers and people dressed as…

Lillian Vernon - steamy finds

Posted on November 16, 2010 at 7:44am 0 Comments

So I went to the Lillian Vernon website because I wanted to see if they had anything worth while - I was surprised to find some very steamy things there.

Bud Vase Set

Budvase - $7.49 - for the mad scientist

Double-sided Clock

double sided clock - $19.98

sutter deco fan - $159.98 - $249.98 - a little exspensive for my taste, but still cool.

Navigaator Canvus print - $49.98

Persona fun

OK so my persona is african/native american. I've had this idea kicking around for garb (is it called garb in steampunk?) Anywho I have been looking through a lot of re enactor sights looking for ideas of things to Mod. I found this great hat called a vivandiere worn by women during the civil war. Its only $95 - on my list baby

Love your style lady. By your use of the term "garb" I suspect we share another hobby too.
I'm glad I could make you smile-sometimes people take my steampunk fiction seriously which just blows me away! I'll give you a heads-up when we post our stories to our website- www.steampulptales.com You may find some of the gallery entries amusing and I would be interested in your feedback once the stories are up.

You should seriously consider attending SteamPunk Worlds Faire in May in Jersey. It's worth the trip.
