mlle.deedee gauzot... said… Found an animation from Canada in french with english subs. The subject matter is a bit grim, ie, assisted suicides, animated nudity, black humor, but it draws you in. Cute...grim and gothy, but cute. Sort of an Edvard Gorey look. Enjoy.
Bonjour ! Sgt. Ian MacBruiche...
I watched the trailer...I agree you with it seems like a "cute," "dark," Edvard Gorey-esque or Tim Burton-esque type animation. I most definitely, will follow your link [If possible] to watch the film in its entirety.
merci, for sharing!...As always!

Bonjour ! Sgt. Ian MacBruiche...
Ha!ha!
Oh! no, the only thing I "hate" is that I'm afraid Of flying, [in order to get over there at the speed Of light in order to check the 100 year old French house out in person...] and the fact, that [the video] is not available over there on you-tube.
[postscript: Because I would <3 to share the video... too! ]
Now, with that being said, merci, for sharing the link and after the viewing the video the info [rmation] about Messrs. Louis Mantin who bequeathed his opulent home to the town of Moulins is...priceless!

David Perry said… Many thanks, Sergeant, for your humbling words regarding the Professor Elemental album! I have been quite fortunate to work for the man himself, and I look forward to seeing him at Comicpalooza here in the states this coming May.

Avery Crowe said… My thanks for the compliment, good sir. I just merely travel ye ole internet for those certain qualities i look for in a photographic image and add them to my rather unique collection. They seem to be popular for some reason or another...
Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm an artist inspired by the mistery of the vampires and I'm very new in steampunk. I'm very anxious to learn more about it and to share all I create. I'm working on my page and I'll post few samples of my original designs very soon. I hope we'll talk again....Best regards!
Persephone Xue said… I returned this evening from my charity volunteer work with the homeless and was very pleasantly pleased to find your calling card. I am thrilled beyond English words that you attempted to meet with me and apologize for not being present when you dropped in. Thank you so gratefully for your attention. Your suggestions of appropriate groups to visit in the Empire is most appreciated and I hope to have the pleasure of your company in the near future.
Chila Woychik said… Thanks, Ian. Appreciate the welcome. :)
Ravyn Heterodyne said… Thank you very much Ian, but for my tastes I require something a tad bit more than just duct tape. However I do appreciate the advice and always welcome it.
Michael 'Rez' Alvarez said… Much appreciated Ian, I'll definitely check them out
ian sorry for the long time to reply, but the picture you posted would be more possible with a remmington style revolver not the colt. if you need explanation let me know but it has to do with the mechanics of each company's build
