- Greetings! I am Thaddeus H. Oddington, scientist, adventurer, gentleman. In real life, I'm a mechanical engineer who builds life support systems for a living. I have had a lifelong interest in making things that do something, so my plan is for all my adornments to serve an actual purpose. I'm just getting started with not even a waistcoat to my name as yet.

Dr. Alice Wolfenden said… - A stitch un-picker should get those pockets open. It's quite common for the pockets to be sewn shut on new garments, especially high quality ones. It keeps the garment shape better. It took me ages to realise my nice blazer actually had *real* pockets and not just faux openings!
