Introduction
Greeting, Tis me, Count Jason

Hello Steampunk Empire

Greetings viewers of my page here. Let me take a moment to say a little something about myself. I am a resident of the greater Tampa, FL area for a few years now. I joined the Navy in 2001 as a submariner, did my time onboard navies finest underwater vessels, separated in 2007 to obtain a Bachelor's degree off the GI BILL's back and now I work part-time at a major used car dealership and still attending college full-time.

I'm eccentric as all heck. I'm into the gothic, steampunk, victorian lifestyle like no other EXCEPT my group of friends whom I run a blog with, attend anime, tattoo & horror conventions, and write/direct short films, as well as alternative modeling. Needless to say, I'm generally busy.

Personally you can find me:

Steampunk music revisited - Burl Veneer

I wouldn't go far to say as I have debated with this man as opposed to bring in another perspective and I think he bring excellent points to the argument of steampunk music. I'm not entirely sure of the extent of his knowledge of this social network however those here can certain join in the conversation at his blog regarding the state of steampunk music and bring in your perspective as… Continue

Steampunk music has, for the purist and elitist steampunkers, been a touchy subject. After all, there hasn't been a strong connection with music and steampunk movement like most other subcultural groups. In fact, steampunk represents one of the few subcultural movements that have developed with music inspiration being virtually non-existent… Continue

So I'm sure that I'm going to get a full review on my regular blog that I run, Traveling Freaks - but I just wanted to throw out here (because I'm an uber nerdy Steampunk fan and there's a good chance I'm already behind the power curve because it was released Dec 1st 2009) but I just recently downloaded the New Abney Park CD and so far… Continue
