I found it that way and the only alteration done to the piece, was to grind down part of the pin on that center cock, so it didn't snag on clothing. Otherwise, I didn't touch it. ^^ I tend to go a little over the…"
"Thank you. ^^ I have a lot of fun making it, when I'm not cussing it out over being somewhat complicated. I have a few pieces I need to take pictures of again, but the one below is one of my all time favorites. I…"
"Just joined the site the other day, haven't posted yet. I'm a jewelry designer. I make what I call Steampunkesque jewelry. The reason I use that term, is because I've had people whine about the whole 'what…"
"Dear Lady Terpsichore,
You may have stumbled on one of our older posts ... I am afraid so.
But do go to the last few posts in this thread and you'll find a more active conversation. At least one from this year."
"I agree! Dabbling is one of the best ways to stay creative in my opinion. Jewellery and prop/costume making are more hobbies for me, since my focus in life is illustration. Do you have a link to your work? I'd love to see the Halloween props!"
"I just added about four more pieces to my website last night. So feel free to take a look. :)
I have found myself sleeping a lot less this last few months as I have ramped up my Steampunk activities..."
"Thanks :). What is sad is that I still work at a Jewelry store for my day job, and I have become completely disenchanted with traditional jewelry. I worked as a CAD designer for nearly five years and the thought of designing a…"
"Thank you. For the moment I am not selling my jewelry. Just enjoying the creation. At some point I will begin selling directly from my website.
I had not realized there was a steampunk con in Portland. I will look into that. Thanks!"
"Insomniac can just be another word for people who find real life too interesting to waste it sleeping.
Do feel free to post pics here or link to a site if you have one.
Always interested in what people are creating."
Theodore! It was so nice to see you the other night. I am been seriously thinking about that collaborative work that we might venture upon. I have come up with some ideas. e-mail me @ firstname.lastname@example.org so we can speak more about it!
I would love to have you in our little exchange! :) Hopefully you will enjoy your steampunk surprise. However...you must be willing to make 5 gifts and post a new discussion to know which 5 people you will be sending a gift too. Otherwise, unfortunately, it goes to the next person who posts...
Does that sound like something you still want to do? If so, I can start a discussion for you to receive your 5 people to give gifts too.
if you're referring to the wiki, I was trying to save you the embarassment of using the incorrect word. I think you meany "reputedly" rather than "reputably". And, I deleted it entirely, since von Grelle isn't reputedly homicidal, she's decidedly homicidal. If I had intended an extra adjective, I would have used one.
