Rev. Dr. Sir Paddington Aldwich said… I thank you, good Sir. My annual libations, which I was fortunate enough to celebrate heartily at MarsCon in Williamsburg, in the Commonwealth of Virginia, were a great success. Fortunately, I was sufficiently conservative with my consumption of roasted pheasant and absinthe that I shall likely survive to attend the event again next year. I shall be displaying daguerreotypes from the event on my S.E. page forthwith. Good day, Sir.
Thanks for the friend request. Cheers!

Mademoiselle Suzette Cherie said… Dear Randal, lol nooo you have misunderstood my evening last. I am not interested in this man romantically and I may have misused the word "enthralled". He is more in to quanity vs quality where women are concerned, I'm sure! I detest wonderers and have never been taken in by one for I am wise and onto them. I was running late and joined my friends at the tavern but found myself in a play of sorts. I did not eat for I would have been the sole person munching on wings and potato skins. I barely had time to join them for I ran home and put on jeans and a HIM tee-shirt and Sketchers. As you can see I was not dressed to catch anyones eye, so my part was innocent.lol. and besides this man would never do. If I have to explain over and over who the band is on my tee which was the case for he cornered me as I came out if the ladies room. I mean he has to be living under a rock to not know who Ville Valo is! I'm sure he moved on to other ladies once I left. I don't patron bars to pick up men. I have found nicer men, strike up conversations with me at the book stores. At the same time I don't want a choir boy.. I do like handsome leading men for I am a bit traditional and I like men that drink in moderation and I rather like the aroma of their good cigars. :)
I won't skip meals today for I am about to have a wonderful lunch and I made myself a California style breakfast this morn.
Sincerely ~Mademoiselle Suzette~
Mademoiselle Suzette Cherie said… Dear Randal, You have found me hungry again and the food you describe, I applaud you but it tortures me so to think about it for I have skipped supper once again. I was foolish this evening and joined my friends at the local tavern for some merryment and nursed one Corona w/lime but forgot to grab a bite on the way. I am a better listener then a conversationalist and I became enthralled in a particular persons verbose skills after he had many drinks. Miraculously he began to speak fluent Italian even though his witnesses swear he does not know the language. He was quite entertaining so I skipped ordering food in order to listen to him.
Speaking of drink, I don't have the chance to do it often and I so enjoy it when I do and have yet to find out all the liquors and beer that I would enjoy and favor. I am most interested in this Absinthe that you gentlemen seem to admire. I hear it taste like black licorice(I've always liked RED licorice.lol) I'm not sure I would like Absinthe.
I hope this note finds you happy and healthy.
Sincerely ~Mademoiselle Suzette Cherie~
