Katherine Vanstaveren said… Very interesting! The most metal work I've done is bending wire for a few jewelry pieces. I admire people that work in unique mediums like that.
I like to stick with pencil and charcoal, and digital media as well.
Katherine Vanstaveren said… Very nice to meet a fellow artist! I attend ECU, in North Carolina, for Animation. I see you mostly do leather work and chainmaille. What other media have you worked with (if you don't mind my asking)?
James Murray said… *doffs hat and taps goggles* thankyou kind sir for the request. A pleasure to make your acquaintance!
Mildred A. Stockhill said… Hey you :P
Dr. Margaret McGuillicutty said… Dear Captain! It was so enjoyable to make your acquaintance at the Pine Hill Steampunk Festival, I chanced to enter your name into Google and discovered this superb forum. Please do keep in touch as there are many zombies needing decapitation in this part of the Catskills. You are welcome to visit our lovely hamlet of Pine Hell anytime. -- Warm Regards, Margaret McGuillicutty, MD
P.S. Do you think you can help me design a parasol with a hidden blade?

Henrik "mad sykes" Stättevik said… Thank you for the answer, I do have an old model from Sweden but it is a marine coat. Here in sweden it is hard to get hold of really old military surplus, most of it is sent to other countries.
Henrik "mad sykes" Stättevik said… which country does the coat come from. looks like the one I had during my military service in Sweden.
Ms. Tatlin said… You are very welcome! I miss my days abroad and hope to one day be able to travel again.
Ronin said… yes, 7.62's. Ive gone back and forth on that mod as I had a number of issues mounting and keeping them mounted in a way that didnt interfere with movement. those are only plastic rounds until I can get more of the actual belt feed links and brass. I recently removed them to rework the (aparrent) feed modifications and returned to the standard box magazine for the latest outing.
yeah, I've been a fan of the C96's since my youth. managed to try a friends chinese version out a few years back. thankfully, this one is MUCH lighter than the original.
