Introduction: Based out of Baltimore MD and Manhattan NY, Eli August combines elements of dark folk and chamber rock to create songs that emphasize lyricism, melody and mood.

Eli August's songwriting centers around the simplicity of acoustic guitar and ukulele, but frequently incorporates the sounds of strings, percussion, and reed instruments such as accordion, melodeon and concertina.
