Confessions of a Decadent Gentleman
Greetings. I am a bibliophile, a stringer of words, a devourer of foods, a dubious journalist, an imbiber of drinks and a generally roguish loony.
My heroes have always been quirky: Tom Baker, Edward Lear, Stephen Leacock, Spike Milligan, and other such eccentrics.
My aim in life is to grow old disgracefully and I'm open to any invitations from generous souls to help me achieve that endeavor. Please send pictures, measurements, and other assorted kink in a brown paper envelope.
In my spare time, I feed carnivorous plants to herbivorous animals, torture the seams of my britches with many deep knee bends, practice the fine art of baritsu, and continue work on my autobiography, Gingerbeard Gin Freak.

- Well, it took about a month, but I have finally posted a couple of pictures from our outing to the Southgate House for the Two Man Gentlemen Band.
Hope all is well with you, and perhaps I shall see you next Sunday at the Renaissance Festival; I'm bringing my little air ship pirate with me (aka my son).

My assistant Fong and I have found our way to your esteemed demesnes on a perilous mission of most dire import, for a dreadful beast is currently at large in the Empire and it is my intent to essay its capture. I speak of none other than the insufferable Jersey Devil Duck-Dog!
Pray tell, good Brian, have you happened to have seen this creature hereabouts? I have been tracking it for days and suspect it is very close by, for I am ever aware when I am in proximity to any supernatural being, and I also happened to step in some of its droppings a mere league from this very spot.
If you catch sight of the thing, I urge you to exercise utmost caution. It possesses strange mental powers and is a master of the art of Full Animal Lighter-than-air Levitation, (F.A.L.L. as the phenomena is known to experts in the field.) I can’t begin to tell you of the many and sundry flying animals I have endured while tracking the depraved beast... Why, I was bitten by an airborne ferret just this very morning! If you happen upon this creature, please do let me know, avoid eye contact at all costs and be alert for strange changes of behavior in your household pets, behavior like: unreasonable aggression, foaming of the mouth, floating…the symptoms are unmistakable.
Would that I could stay longer and do some catching-up, OddBrian, but I fear I must press on; the fate of the Empire hangs in the balance.
