Steampunked Out on Etsy

Leather Steampunk Leg Garter w/ Pocket -Made to Order- by SteampunkedOut

42.00 USD

**To get leg measurements, take a string and wrap it around your leg at the height you want to wear the garter and mark it then lay it flat and measure the length if you don't have access to a cloth measuring tape.**

***COLOR INFO***
Please select your preferred color combination from the drop down menu. The first color refers to the base color, which is then over laid with the lace pattern. For red, green, blue, purple, and dark brown, the lace overlay is done in black; making them appear darker. For the plain brown and yellow/gold garters, the overlay is done with brown. The second color refers to the hardware and bullet color: Brass or Silver. If you would like a color combination not listed, please choose custom colors and let me know your preference. Please note that colors that require white to be added such as pink or baby blue are not possible with dye. Please contact me with any questions.

DESCRIPTION

The Steampunk Leather Leg Garter is made from 5oz veg tan leather and is custom made for size. There is a 3 inch piece of elastic on the inner thigh to allow for flexibility, and a buckle for minor tension adjustments.

The pocket design is approximately 3"X4" with a snap closure. It comfortably fits an ID and a couple of credit cards, as well as a small cash stash. Great for a convention or a night out on the town!

(NOTE--all hand dyed leather can bleed on occasion, especially when in the presence of moisture. The back side of the leather has only a minimal amount of dye to help eliminate possible color rubbing.)

The Steampunk Leather Leg Garter is made from 5oz veg tan leather and is custom made for size. There is a 3 inch piece of elastic on the inner thigh to allow for flexibility, and a buckle for minor tension adjustments.

The knife sheaths are also 5.oz leather and are dyed to match the garter. Comes with 2 silver throwing knives, approximately 4" long. The edges are not very sharp, but the point is, and I have tested them. They can be thrown and stuck into a target with practice, but they are light and do not provide much penetration. They are intended for costume purposes only. Please check you local laws about knife length and double edges and convention rules before ordering. Steampunked Out is not liable if knives are confiscated or misused.

(NOTE--all hand dyed leather can bleed on occasion, especially when in the presence of moisture. The back side of the leather has only a minimal amount of dye to help eliminate possible color rubbing.)

For destinations outside the US, please check with customs laws pertaining to double edged knives before ordering. Not responsible for seized shipments.

Steampunked Out Official Checkout Stand

Finished my checkout stand for use at cons. Turned out pretty well I think. I would do a few things differently if I did it again though.

The Second Edition of The Aether Chronicle!

I hope you enjoy the second edition of The Aether Chronicle. I'm planning to add a Writer's Shelf to review Steampunk Books in the third edition.

Greetings Tinkerton,
My name is Leslie Orton, and I have started writing a Steampunk newspaper called The Aether Chronicle. If you agree, I would love your input on what I call the 'mechanical Steampunk hybrid' phenomenon. I would love an interview, and pictures of your costumes with their amazing accoutrements (like The Chatterbox).

Let me know what you think,

Leslie

Your website, Steampunked Out, popped up in one of the sidebar ads when I visited the Empire today. I took a look at the site and I must say that I'm very impressed, not only with the finely crafted leather goods but also with the look of the site itself.

Well done sir! I wish you much success.

I was going to write to you on etsy but this should do just fine,

It's working out AMAZINGlLY. I received many compliments on it and each time I said "Go see this guy, he's a great guy, and as you can see, does great work."

As I brainstorm additions and what not for future pieces, expect an email from me!
