After dyeing and ripping apart my wedding dress, my first steampunk ensemble is ready for its debut at the Steampunk weekend at Historic Speedwell in Morristown, NJ tomorrow. I ended up removing the bodice of the dress entirely - so in the pictures below the green overskirt with the yellow lining is what remains of the wedding dress.…See More

My husband as a hold misheard the song lyric "cockeyed optimist" as "cockeyed octopus" and with a little tweak it is perfect for The Steampunk Empire!
