The Captain glances at his watch and holds it calmly as he watches the last minute tick by.  He turns to the voice pipe that runs back to the launch bay,

“Boarding party launch.”  He hears the disconnected voice of his Master of the Sword come back through the tube,

“Aye aye Captain.  See you on the prize ship.”

Back in the launch bay, each of the boarding party members are already strapped into bat-shaped glider wings of bamboo struts…

    The hideous spider-like creature advanced menacingly towards us. "Kill them! Kill them!" shouted Professor Clasius then continued reciting the incantation that had materialized the evil thing into our presence from some other, darker dimension.
