Steam in the Willows

What follows is an introduction to the Steam in the Willows project that my dear friend and illustrator, Krista, has written. It first appeared on her blog for the project, and although I encouraged her to write a new introduction just for this blog she pointed out that the first one said everything she wanted to say, and more time spent writing simply meant less time illustrating!

So, if you are reading the title and thinking "what's that all about", the following will hopefully…

Time Flies!

Has it really been, yowser, that many months?

I'm still kicking, and so is the film. We had a great trip to ChattaCon this past weekend. Okay, the panel was a little scarce -- to those of you who came, thanks for the support! -- but there's nothing quite like leaving a nudist room-party and bumping into Emilie Bush from Steampunk Chronicle!

Engines of Destiny had the chance to sit…

Quite the Quandary

Back again, I see, for my less than regular chatter. The quandary at the moment which presents itself: I have been given a choice of two posters for an as-yet-unannounced special event taking place in New Zealand next March. A special charity concert evening, you see-- not mine, thankfully-- and I have been asked by my associate (the real 'star' of the March festivities) which background I prefer, pink or chrome. As I despise pink, I so wanted to say 'chrome'....but the pink is actually more…

I am a massive fan of everything steampunk, like lots of people here if possible i would make it my way of life.

But in todays world it gets harder and harder to express yourself without being ridiculed, i mean is it really a bad thing not wanting to look like any other person walking the street or not wanting to just look identical every other person in your work class ect. Its really disopointing that this is what we have come too.

So im going to order some nice…

Professor's Log: Day 3

I rested for the next two days. Drifting in and out of consciousness all the while and waking each time to an unfamiliar room in an as then unknown land. On the 3rd day I felt strong enough to get up and walk around the grounds. it was a wonderful house on Cape Cod it was wood shingled and white trimmed with a large beautiful door into the sitting room. Its big open windows and two skylights let the sun in at almost all hours of the day. With colored light streaming in from the stained… Continue

The Professors Log: Memories; Day 1

.. ..

I have been told a few times that recalling the memories I do have, will help me replace the ones I cannot recall. Sounds logical I guess, the mind like any muscle works better if it is worked out often. Maybe that’s why

I have focused so much on my intellectual endeavors as much as I have. At any rate, lets

get to it…
