The Steampunk Empire

The Crossroads of the Aether

As a creative and someone who plays and has played various games - board games, tabletop RP, LARP, MMORPGs, etc - I am always on the lookout for something interesting. I am going into Game Art & Design professionally so it is also career research.

Currently, aside from playing WoW occasionally, I am totally addicted to a free, online, flash-based game called Remnants of Skystone that I was linked to from another SPE member. If you play, I created "Risnae" there so look me up. [ http://www.kongregate.com/games/FliplineStudios/remnants-of-skystone ]

Console Gaming. We have several platforms here and one of the guys is bringing this home tonight for our Xbox so I will let you know how it plays! Check it out. [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRyUHTWL5GU&feature=related ]

Have fun!

yea, Damnation was hurried to hell so it played like a drunkard stumbling through a swamp - there were snags everywhere and you always had a weird angle on the action. Not to mention the artwork and presentation of the story were cheesy as hell. It was almost a rip in places off of Gears of War which I only played for a few hours.

Rushed out!? Oh no! I was banking on Damnation to be one hell of a good game!

If you have a 360, there's a game that was rushed out called Damnation. It was really fun and steampunky but glitchy to boot!

Very tempting but I would become addicted and have no time to create.
