The beginnings.

 A friend in RL had sent me pictures of different Steamers in an email once, and I thought it was rather interesting. The more she sent, the more my fascination grew!

 As of yesterday, I found myself diverting from my normal passtime, aka paranormal investigations, and scouring the internet for locations to purchase various pieces of wardrobe to create my Steam Persona.

 Today I caught myself at a job site, wherein the homeowners lost many items due to a mudslide, looking for items I could take back home to begin manufacturing my "Steamy regalia".

 I think I have a new passion in life, and am starting to 'corrupt' my friends into Steamer life.
