I will have to tender my regrets. My father-in-law had a stroke yesterday, is currently at St.Francis Hospital South. I've been devoting much time at his side (and at my mother-in-law's). As Thanksgiving will be his 79th birthday as well, I will be occupied with decisions, as well as ways to render assistance to my mother-in-law. Please accept my heartfelt apologies.
I wore my bowler because they were part of the clothing I normally wear to my normal job.
During a given day, I will wear a suit with vest, shirts with attachable collars, puff-ties, vests and pocket-watches. I also smoke a variety of pipes. As the day before the Fishers Renaissance Faire (the day before we met) was a casual Friday, I opted for a sensible shirt, cotton vest, tie and canvas suspender pants. In short, my everyday clothing is Steampunk with a slightly Western feel---the only thing I don't own are goggles.
It was nice meeting you too Claude! Thanks for putting up our dear Taylor Maid, she is very dear to us and it was kind of you to let her share your berth. I look forward to many future projects and events with you and your lovely wife!
Well "Top Kick" it is then, but by my esteem you rank higher than you wish to admit. I understand that a lot of folks have a history with Marcon, however, I am actually a con-virgin and like anyone who has been "saving themselves" I want it to be the "right one." It does seem that all the steampunks I know and like are heading to Columbus that weekend, and the fact that it's only a two hour drive from the Queen City makes me lean back toward Marcon, but given my perchant for shilly-shallying that could change.
So Captain of the Circle City Aerodrome, it is good to see that your group is growing; I've been pointing a few steamed Hoosiers (spelling?) your way where I can. But the purpose of my visit today is to gauge whether your crew is also torn about Marcon versus the World Expo? A few of in Ohio are rather perplexed that both fall on the same weekend. How goes it in your neck of the aether?
Hi, Claudius. I'd like to talk to you about showcasing some of your stuff in my article. Could you please send me an email at email@example.com? (I don't mind posting that address because it's posted all over the place, anyway. The downside is I only check it once a day.)
The bikes an 1986 700 I bought for 500 bucks , took about 12 hours to get it were its at in the picture , gotta love sawsalls and spray paint , I will be posting some pics of the chain drive jockey shift and brake assmbly soon , just finished casting the gears out of bronze
Fate is calling you once more sir! I still maintain that you are natural choice for captain of the Circle City Conferacy; I can even see your logo which is three cogs forming a triangle and in each is the letter C.
Rambling good! Learning awesome. Yes, a blog post would be a wonderful idea, and don't be afraid to be as specific as you want to be. I literally have most of all day every day to be on the internet so a long post is no trouble for me, and I'm sure others would find it useful as well.
