The beak and black feathers are hand drawn. I found an old photo at a garage sale, scanned it, printed a copy and did the rest by hand. I am glad you like it!

I saw the Pongid you posted. That male has cool looking cheek pads to show his dominance.

Actually, I've leaned more towards Cyberpunk/Speculative Futuristic Fiction, and a late 1920's piece with Cthulhu Mythos influences. Have only done one short steampunk piece and it was hurried and crunched down to meet page limits lol.
