The Crossroads of the Aether
Riverboats seem to me to be under represented in SP culture. They were an elegant and charming way to travel in through remote frontiers.

My lovely wife gave me the whole series on DVD for Christmas even though she complains that it is too misogynistic and will not watch it. The captain is always picking up exotic women, fist fighting, and getting his shirt ripped. The engineer has an accent and is always pushing the boilers past their limit. The ship's name is the Enterprise. For some odd reason this reminds me of something else. At least they did not give the pilot, a young Burt Reynolds, pointy ears and since it is B&W I cannot tell what color shirts the crew members are wearing when they get killed. I think that the DVDs are worth buying.
