Hi Lloyd!
I'm very happy about your message because, even if I was born and live in the north of Italy ,my mother is from Sardinia so.. .:D

Medici is a very important name in Italy, and if you know (or google)  something about "lorenzo de' medici" you understand..
I think Rome is the right place, university was founded in 1300 so it's ok... :) Even Firenze, if you like it...I think has the right athmosphere...especially in late 1800.

Please let me know if you need any help. And visit us also on our facebook page:

sorry for my not perfect english
and hug your wife!

Ciao!! :D

Ciao, so no Lloyd Rogers, Americano (Texan). Mia moglia a Sarda, Giuliana. Sorry for my attempt at Italian. I lived from 1994 to 2007 in San Sperate, Sardegna. I had been there years before as a Senior Independent Duty Medical Technician, Combat Trained. I went where Doctor's would not go and worked as a combination Senior staff medic to a American contingent at as NATO base. I am a newbie and just starting. My persona will be a Doctor but not a "Plague" raven faced Doctor. And since I speak some Italian, I want an Italian persona name like maybe Leonardo Medici ( yes, pun intended). I wish there had been a group like this when I lived there. Now I would appreciate any help with names and specializing my costume. Italian heritage Doctor, living in America but medically trained in Rome? Grazia Lloyd
