Literary icon Anne Rice returns to blockbuster book series. PRINCE LESTAT: THE VAMPIRE CHRONICLES to be published October 2014.

During an exclusive interview on Sunday 9^th March, on The Dinner Party Show with Christopher Rice and Eric Shaw Quinn, literary icon Anne Rice revealed that her next novel will feature the return of one of the most popular vampires of all time: Lestat de Lioncourt.

PRINCE LESTAT: THE VAMPIRE CHRONICLES will be published by Chatto & Windus in October and simultaneously in the US by Alfred A. Knopf, an imprint of the Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group.

The announcement was teased for more than a week on Twitter and Facebook with #AnneRiceReveal. The new novel is being promoted with #PrinceLestat.

Rice described the new novel as ‘a sequel to the first five Vampire Chronicles’ books and ‘a true sequel to Queen of the Damned. I finished it last summer and I’ve been having a terrible time not talking about it !’

The Vampire Lestat is back...
