Nova Albion and changing my persona name (or: DAMN YOU KATE WINSLET)
So I spent this weekend at Nova Albion, my very first Steampunk convention, and had an absolutely wonderful time. As I am used to large, rowdy anime conventions, my expectations were quite off the mark with what I actually saw.
What I expected: tons of teenagers
What I found: a handful of little kids, mostly their 20s-ish parents, and a lot of their 40+ grandparents. Tons of older ladies and gentlemen!
