Ning help

Would a knowledgeable and creative ning person please help me set up a new ning social network site?

It has nothing to do with steampunk... it's for a NFP that I work for.

I'm the bookeeper!  But they asked me to help with their archaic and God awful website.

Out with the old, in with the new.

Anybody willing to help?

Thank you!

The Airship Hysteria of 1896-1897: An Article Review

While researching the Great Airship Flap of 1897, I came across word of an article in the Winter 1990 issue of Skeptical Inquirer. It was, however, just a mention of the article. The article itself wasn't online and the back issue had been long out of print. Finally, though, a copy showed up on Amazon and I now have a chance to see what someone other than a UFOlogist thinks on the subject.

It doesn't start off well. The author, Robert Bartholomew, begins by talking about…

Nine

Just finished Watching "9". Twice... in a row. IT WAS THAT AWESOME!

I am now thinking about trying to make number 5's crossbow. The basic components look fairly simple but I'm not sure how the catch is going to work.

I know at this time are going to need

  • 1 Old-style key
  • 2 Springs (Probably from those clicky pens)
  • Bailing twine
  • Eyelet hook
  • Sowing and…

Q&A with Author and Vaudeville Expert Trav S.D.

Whenever I begin a new research project, books are always the first place I turn—and it was no different when I set out to learn as much as I could about vaudeville, especially as it existed in turn-of-the-last-century New York. I searched out new books, old books, library books, any books, really, that referenced vaudeville in some way. The result was an extensive…

Just wondering what underpinnings people are seeking out there? I'm changing gears(lol) from jewelry making and setting my sights on adding ready to ship handmade garments to my shop. Despite the massive amount of hits I've gotten, I have a feeling that the idea of waiting a couple weeks for things to be custom made from scratch is giving people second thoughts, so maybe it's time to do things a bit differently. I've got a massive amount of white fabric ready to go for chemises and…
