The Steampunk Empire

The Crossroads of the Aether

September 2014 Blog Posts (26)

Took a year off, cleaned up my shop.

I took a year off from making anything new. I went through all my boxes of half finished projects and either finished them, or tossed them out.

Now I'm too the point where I can start something new.  I'm thinking big this time, like an electric Steampunk car.

We'll see how that goes. :)

I love the act of writing

I love writing. I love writing journals, I love it when the words flow, I love how it feels to read it later, I love when I find something really old that I've written and I get to rediscover a story.

I have another weird thing...

I love to watch other people write, especially on an overhead projector. I love watching people write by hand. Not necessarily fancy writing or poetry, no preference for print or cursive, nor for any particular language. The utensil used doesn't matter…

Looking For People To Photograph

Hey everyone, I'm a photographer here in Toronto and I teach workshops. I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in modelling for a steampunk photography workshop. Ideally I'm looking for a couple but I'm open to individuals as well.

The workshops would be 2 hours in length and you would be paid $75 plus receive some of the images from the session.

If you'd like to know more about me and what I do head over to phototraining.ca and have a look.

Here are a couple of Steampunk…

A True Modern Day Victoriana

Step Back in Time with me to a moment of "Days Gone By"~

Where manners and eloquence were the rule. A time when politeness and courtesy were just a normal way of life. A time when Men were truly "Gentlemen", and they treated women Like "Ladies".

How I longs for Those Days Again or the days when a women…
